Electric является наиболее употребительным из этих двух прилагательных и имеет следующие значения: 1) 'получаемый от электричества или действующий при помощи электричества' (русское электрический): electric light, electric train, electric iron, electric stove; 2) 'производящий электричество' (также соответствует русскому электрический): electric power station. Electrical, в отличие от electric, означает 'имеющий отношение к электричеству, связанный с электричеством' (electrical русского эквивалента-прилагательного не имеет): electrical engineer 'инженер-электрик'.
